Rapture Eco Surfcamp is located in Vila Nova de Milfontes – Odemira, a charming fishing village at the mouth of the River Mira. Situated in the heart of the National Park of Southwest Alentejo and Vicentina Coast, the camp is on a small farm near the seaside, just minutes from the fishing port and a 15-minute walk from the town center. Embracing permaculture and eco-friendly living, the camp connects guests to the land and promotes healthy activities, including surfing.
Get to know the Milfontes Surf School! The area features beautiful white sand beaches with mellow, fun waves ideal for both beginners and experienced surfers. Consistent throughout the summer, these waves are perfect for learning and improving. Daily transportation to local surf spots, such as Malhão and Furnas, ensures access to the best conditions on Costa Vicentina.
Guests can enjoy a range of activities including surfing, exploring the organic garden, and participating in local events like SUP, horse riding, and coastal walks. NON SURFING ACTIVITIES

For those with a culinary interest, Portuguese cooking workshops are available for a small fee. The camp invites guests to explore and appreciate a lesser-known, beautiful part of Portugal.

HOW TO GET THERE
To reach Rapture Surf Camp Milfontes, guests can use a convenient semi-private shuttle service for €40 per person. Upon arrival at Lisbon Airport, a private driver will take you to the Sete Rios bus station in Lisbon. From there, you’ll board a private company bus to Milfontes, where another driver will pick you up and bring you to the surf camp.
Please note the last shuttle leaves Lisbon bus station at 19:30. For those arriving from other locations in Portugal, check prices and schedules at Rede Expressos. The camp also offers pickups from the Milfontes bus station. Alternatively, get in touch with Swell Seekerz and we will help you with logistics.
LEVEL ONE BEGINNER SURF COURSE
The beginner module is ideal for those new to surfing or those who haven’t surfed in a while. It’s designed to help you build skills at your own pace, with our instructors ensuring you catch plenty of waves and enjoy the experience.
Lessons are daily, with instruction tailored to your progress. With the guidance of our experienced instructors, you could be riding green waves within a few days.

LEVEL TWO
INTERMEDIATE SURF COURSE
The intermediate module boosts your water independence. You should be able to catch waves, paddle effectively, and be comfortable in deep water. If not, start with the beginner course.

LEVEL THREE ADVANCED SURF COACHING
To join the advanced group, you should confidently handle 3-foot+ waves, surf at low tide, and perform top and bottom turns. Proficiency in shortboards and duck diving is also required. If you're not yet comfortable with head-high waves, stay in the intermediate group until ready. Rapture coaches monitor your progress, so you might move from intermediate to advanced sessions in just a few days.
