NON SURFING ACTIVITIES

A stay at Diamond Island includes a diverse selection of free activities. Guests can spend their days snorkeling over tropical reefs, playing beach volleyball, exploring the island on scenic walks, or kayaking at sunset.

There are plenty of other options available that can be arranged for guests at additional cost. Guests can go scuba diving, embark on local island tours, or enjoy deep sea fishing excursions. Additionally, Pulau Bangkaru, the second largest island in the Banyak group, offers the opportunity to witness endangered Green Turtles and critically endangered Leatherback Turtles nesting, making it one of the world's premier nesting sites for these magnificent creatures.

HOW TO GET THERE

Getting to Diamond Eco Island Resort is easier than you might think. Despite its remote location, it's more accessible than many other islands, like the Mentawai. You can reach the resort by ferry or flight to a nearby town, followed by a boat ride to the island. Our team will assist with all transportation arrangements to ensure a smooth journey.

Option 1: Most Direct Route

Fly to Medan, then take a direct flight to Singkil airport. Upon arrival, our team will transport you from Singkil airport to Singkil marina, just a 5-minute car ride away. From there, you'll enjoy a scenic boat ride to Diamond Island. This is the quickest and easiest option, and your trip to our beautiful location is worth every second.

Cost: $200 USD per group of four, each direction.

Option 2: Time for a Tour
Book a flight to Medan, and we’ll handle the rest. We will arrange transportation from Medan airport to Singkil by car, followed by a boat ride to Diamond Island. This option allows you to explore other tourist attractions along the way, such as the Singkil swamp tour or the Orangutan tour in Gunung Leuser National Park.

Cost: $400 USD per group of four, each direction.
