Clapo Surf Camp in Imsouane offers an unparalleled surf adventure in one of Morocco’s most iconic surf spots. Founded by brothers Abderrahim and Houssine, with the support of their Berber mother, Aïcha, the camp is deeply rooted in a passion for surfing and Moroccan culture. Imsouane is home to one of the longest waves in Morocco. With a variety of nearby surf spots, the area caters to everyone, from beginners to advanced surfers.

The camp is known for its expert coaching, provided by professional Moroccan surfers who compete both nationally and internationally. Certified by the federation and ISA, the instructors offer a wealth of experience and personalised techniques. Clapo Surf Camp is dedicated to creating a custom surf experience, with individual lessons and guiding sessions tailored to each surfer’s goals. ACCOMODATION AT A GLANCE

Clapo Surf in Imsouane provides a modern surf camp experience with a welcoming Berber touch. Guests can choose from a range of room options, including the spacious Deluxe Suite, cosy Double and Twin rooms, or more affordable Shared accommodations. Each morning, a halal breakfast is served, featuring local specialities and a selection of cheeses. The family-run restaurant at Clapo Surf is open for lunch, dinner, and high tea, specialising in authentic Moroccan cuisine, ensuring guests savour the region's rich culinary traditions.

They’ll take you to the cleanest breaks and the most challenging, lesser-known spots, tailored to your abilities. Closer to the camp, Imsouane offers two main surf spots: Cathedral, with its beach break, reef, and point break waves, ideal for those seeking punchier waves, and The Bay, perfect for beginners looking to refine their skills on longer waves. An all-inclusive surf week in Imsouane, tailored for surfers of all ages and skill levels. Whether traveling with friends, family, or solo, participants can immerse themselves in the vibrant Moroccan culture, enjoy local cuisine, and experience the relaxed atmosphere of this coastal town. The week is an ideal opportunity to improve your surfing.
 

A Day in the Life:

  • 8 AM: Start your day with breakfast on the rooftop terrace of the hotel.

  • 9 AM: Choose your surf gear: surfboard, wetsuit, leash.

  • 9:30 AM: Surf check at various spots to find the one that matches your skill level (the bay, the reef, cathedral, l'oued).

  • 10 AM: Participate in a surf lesson.

  • 1 PM: Break for lunch at a local restaurant or enjoy a picnic on the beach.

  • 2 PM: Relaxation time—nap, explore the village, sunbathe, or enjoy a free surf session.

  • 5 PM: Sunset free surf session.

  • 8 PM: Dinner at the hotel or a village restaurant.

Experienced guides will take you to pristine breaks and hidden spots, carefully selected based on individual skill levels and preferences.
 

A Day in the Life:

  • 7 AM: Optional sunrise surf session.

  • 9 AM: Enjoy a traditional Moroccan breakfast.

  • 10 AM: Hit the road to check the surf spots and start your first session.

  • 12:30 PM: Lunch at a local restaurant or a beachside picnic.

  • 1:30 PM: Take a break, relax, nap, and recharge while the guide selects the next spot.

  • 2:30 PM: Second surf session or explore the city—your choice.

  • 5 PM: Third surf session at sunset or enjoy Moroccan tea time—your choice.

  • 7:30 PM: Return to the hotel.

  • 8:30 PM: Dinner at the hotel or a nearby restaurant.

  • 9:30 PM: Review the day’s photos and videos for analysis.

  • 10 PM: Check conditions for the next day’s surf.

Requirements:

  • Open to intermediate and advanced surfers only.

  • Minimum of two participants required.

  • Bring your own surf equipment (wetsuit, surfboard, leash). Surfboards are also available for hire for the week.
