The camp comprises two connected buildings. The main building houses double rooms and dorm rooms with shared bathrooms, while the second building features additional private apartments and rooms. Guests can relax on the spacious terrace, ideal for sunbathing or yoga sessions. Private apartments offer the option for exclusive use or shared common areas.

Known as one of the world’s top surf spots, Ericeira provides consistent waves throughout the year, making it an ideal location for surf enthusiasts. The area boasts a warm and sunny climate, delicious fresh seafood, and a vibrant local atmosphere that enhances the surfing experience.
Designated as a World Surfing Reserve, Ericeira is renowned for its exceptional surf breaks and pristine beach conditions. Foz do Lizandro, the home beach for Rapture Surf Portugal Ericeira Lizandro, is particularly suited for beginners with its gentle waves and sandy bottom. The nearby beach breaks, all within a 10km radius of the camp, offer diverse surfing opportunities. To stay comfortable in the cooler Atlantic waters, it is recommended to wear a 4/3 wetsuit and booties, especially during the summer when air temperatures can soar above 30°C, providing a refreshing contrast.

Getting to Rapture Surf Portugal Ericeira Lizandro from Lisbon is simple and convenient. The bus company Mafrense operates routes from Lisbon’s Campo Grande Metro Station directly to the Ericeira Terminal. From Lisbon Airport, travelers can take a taxi or the metro to reach Campo Grande. Buses run approximately every hour, and the journey takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on whether you catch a fast or slow bus. The cost for a one-way ticket is €6.50, and luggage, including board bags, can be stored in the bus's luggage compartment at no extra charge. If you inform the camp in advance, they can arrange a pick-up from the Ericeira bus station, keeping in mind their check-in times.
Alternatively, guests can opt for a ride-sharing service like Uber or Bolt for a more direct route. Bolt is generally cheaper, costing around €30-40, while Uber ranges from €40-50.
LEVEL ONE BEGINNER SURF COURSE
The beginner module is ideal for those new to surfing or those who haven’t surfed in a while. It’s designed to help you build skills at your own pace, with our instructors ensuring you catch plenty of waves and enjoy the experience.
Lessons are daily, with instruction tailored to your progress. With the guidance of our experienced instructors, you could be riding green waves within a few days.

LEVEL TWO
INTERMEDIATE SURF COURSE
The intermediate module boosts your water independence. You should be able to catch waves, paddle effectively, and be comfortable in deep water. If not, start with the beginner course.

You’ll learn to handle waist-high and green waves, with personalised tips to refine your technique and style.

LEVEL THREE ADVANCED SURF COACHING
To join the advanced group, you should confidently handle 3-foot+ waves, surf at low tide, and perform top and bottom turns. Proficiency in shortboards and duck diving is also required. If you're not yet comfortable with head-high waves, stay in the intermediate group until ready. Rapture coaches monitor your progress, so you might move from intermediate to advanced sessions in just a few days.
