THE WAVES
Thulusdhoo is home to some of the Maldives' best surf, with world-class reef breaks and abundant marine life, including turtles and dolphins, making every session special. The island offers a mix of left and right-hand waves, catering to various skill levels.
Cokes, the local break, is a fast, barreling right-hander known for punchy rides, while Chickens, across the channel, provides a more playful left with long, carveable walls that stretch up to 500 meters. Other nearby highlights, like Jailbreaks, Sultans, and Honkys, offer plenty of options for surfers of all levels, from beginner to expert.
Our stay at The Zen Den Guesthouse was great, especially from a surfer's perspective. The complimentary breakfast was not just amazing, but also incredibly delicious. As a surfer, I particularly loved the close proximity to the beach, making it incredibly convenient to catch the waves.
